Five years after Raccoon City the T-virus has turned the world into desert. Alice joins Claire Redfield’s convoy of survivors, heading for a rumoured uninfected area in Alaska. Russell Mulcahy directed the 2007 film.
Extinction was meant to be filmed in the Australian Outback. The shoot moved to Mexico, and principal photography began in Mexicali, Baja California, in May 2006. The Las Vegas Strip was built as a set.
